PTR represents nearly 40 years of championing electric music in Geneva, and is first and foremost a festival of decibels, a gathering of a vibrant culture and memorable events in tune with emerging musical trends. PTR is also a vehicle for social integration and professional insertion, both for the countless volunteers and for the association’s permanent staff.

But from nappies to adulthood, the history of PTR is also a succession of struggles with different stakes: rock and its rebel cousins, from 1983 onwards, first had to be imposed and found a home in the city of Calvin. After moving to L’Usine in 1987, the association had to, and still has to, preserve what it has achieved.

PTR proudly maintains the rhythm of a cultural programme that presents all the outgrowths of electric music, while doing its utmost to ensure the development of our rich local scene, thus fulfilling the dual role of cultural hub and rock’n’roll godfather.
