What is the Dynamo?

The Jugendkulturhaus Dynamo is a non-commercial institution located directly on the Limmat, organisationally part of the Social Services of the City of Zurich. Our users and visitors and their cultural interests take centre stage and shape the entire offering. We provide teenagers and young adults with free spaces in which they can develop their own initiative, take responsibility and develop their creativity. They realise their activities, projects and events according to their own ideas and needs and receive professional and methodical support if required.

At the same time, we are also a meeting place for the entire population and build bridges between the generations. In this way, we make youth culture accessible to a broad section of the population and create mutual understanding and acceptance.
