Venues like Fri-Son are much more than places where music is consumed. They are social places where ideas, thoughts and stories are exchanged. Places where communities are born, grow and develop. What unites: rhythm, beats, melodies, passion.

Since our founding as Grassroots Venue in 1983, we’ve invited over 4,000 artists to our stages, including legends like Nirvana, The Young Gods, IAM, Odezenne, Cat Power, Sophie Hunger, Kae Tempest, Christine and The Queens, Patent Ochsner and Motörhead. Then there are the legendary Clubbing Nights, but performance art, film, spoken word, comedy and the visual arts also find their way into our program.
