Kulturhalle Sägegasse
Built in 1896, the hall was already used as a sports and festival hall after its construction. The building was used for over 100 years and has not lost its charm since then. The old sports hall had been empty for quite some time and after long negotiations, we finally got the green light in 2016 to allow this listed gem to be used by the public again.
The Kulturhalle Sägegasse is to be used for a broad, diverse and flexible range of cultural activities (concerts, theatre, parties, choirs, dance, film, literature, art, studios, etc.). The hall is suitable for smaller events with 50 visitors through to larger events with an audience of up to 480 people. As Burgdorf has a centrefunction, the Kulturhalle has regional appeal.
