LE GROOVE

In November 2020, the Administrative Council of the City of Geneva appointed the Groove Consortium, made up of the Collectif pour une vie nocturne riche, vivante et diversifiée (Collectif nocturne) and the Association pour la promotion de la culture et de l’animation musicale (APCAM or Corner 25), to operate a new socio-cultural venue in Geneva’s Jonction district from November 2021.

Le Groove encourages artistic creation and promotes live music and sound system culture. While remaining accessible through a friendly space and low prices, it gives young people the opportunity to become players in the venue and, more broadly, in Geneva’s cultural scene. Its management is based on collaboration between associations and the pooling of space and resources with support measures to ensure musical diversity, multidisciplinarity and support for emerging artists and cultural trends.

Le Groove is an inclusive venue, both on stage and in the audience. The venue is equipped with a sound loop and is fully accessible to people with reduced mobility.
