BACK TO THE BASEMENT

When the Theater am Käfigturm closed its doors in early 2024, a vacuum briefly formed over the upper part of the old town. It wasn’t really dangerous, but it was big enough that the Sous Soul epigones felt the typical spark of anarchy, naivety and overconfidence, and after a few phone calls and meetings, the dice were cast in a strange constellation.

They would open a club. It would be called Sous Soul. They would take risks. On 11 stages, things would happen, some sequentially, some in parallel, and no one could say exactly where it would all lead. In April 2025, the new Sous Soul will open its doors. There are three large red doors, just in case someone wants to close a door. Everything would be underground again, subcultural, colourful, contrasting, warm and inclusive.
