The two Brightside heads show both sides of the sun. A homage to the wide-ranging musical interests of the rising Bernese label. Ruffy begins with the finest jungle to vibe and drift to. VRIN, with the return behind the decks, with saturated happy bounce and trance, which then turns the pots all the way round in a striving 4/4 beat. Come along and let’s dance together!

Brightside is a Swiss Drum’n’Bass label that was founded in 2024.
Our goal is to bring the music style closer to Switzerland. There are neither good or bad styles of music. We already had a successful event with two international acts. We are working on a series of events around Bern and beyond from fall 2024.

One heart and one soul, or the other way round. And it’s all collective and self-determined, but what does that actually mean?
It means that the person who cooks the food, draws the beer or puts together the cultural programme at the Rössli is part of the organisation and has a say in the design and management of the business at the weekly meetings. We are grassroots democratic, with equal rights and solidarity. We contribute our political views and are committed to creating a lively and diverse meeting place at the Reitschule.
