This month’s EATBRAIN “CARNAGE” (2.5 h set) label night is a Bernese neurofunk classic that promises wonderfully unadulterated, high-energy Drum & Bass with a hardcore attitude.
Guests include long-time Darkside resident Gàbor Simon aka JADE VENOM, label owner, producer and DJ from Budapest, who has become an integral part of the international Drum & Bass scene. With a wealth of great releases on his own label as well as on DSC14, Red Light and Commercial Suicide, he and Gergely Sasvari aka MNDSCP from Budapest have been shaping the colour of the genre for two decades – purist dancefloor Drum & Bass that runs into the red and beyond, sweeping everything away and leaving no eye dry!
A more recent, promising act on the label is producer and LIVEON, also from the city on the Danube.
Marvin Hay aka MC COPPA from Leeds, the Eatbrain resident on the microphone, has been known and travelling internationally as a versatile MC for some time. His talent also allows him to find a place in other musical styles, and he has already been on the road as a host for Kruder & Dorfmeister, Meat Katie and Tiefschwarz.
Local support will be provided by Darkside resident and Bernese drum & bass pioneer DEEJAY MF, co-founder of the legendary UNITED TRIBES BERNE crew – advance booking is highly recommended!
The hard night is rounded off by the duo RUFFCUT, who will hit your whole body “Brett für Brett”, no rest planned.
