Three years have now passed since the last sign of life from Homebass. But the interference has cleared up and lo and behold, they are still around!
Of course it remains bass-heavy – after all, the name needs to be honoured. The comeback of Homebass will be introduced by Homebass founder, SECTOR B veteran and Winti boy Ivory Towerz, who has been up to mischief in Winterthur’s dance scene and beyond for several years.
SECTOR B mainstay Subkey hardly needs any introduction, after all he has been causing a furore in the Swiss drum and bass scene for years. Formerly as part of Arcnet and today with his solo sets. This time we can look forward to a carefully curated selection of UK garage and dubstep bangers.
The primetime programme continues no less powerfully with Delilah. Part of the legendary Zurich drum and bass label Divercity since 2022, she has made massive waves and thanks to her energetic and diverse sets, it’s hard to imagine the scene without her. We are excited to see what this concentrated bundle of energy will bring us this time!
If you say drum and bass and Kraftfeld, you have to say Eulachbass, and if you say Eulachbass, you can’t get past Molekül and Fayyaz. Known and loved for their tireless efforts to provide the Kraftfeld and Winterthur with the necessary dose of D’n’B. This time, the two of them will be sharing the deck duties and bringing heaps of vinyl from their, presumably inexhaustible, record reservoirs.

Divercity was founded in 2010 as a local Zurich Drum’n’Bass event label. With the monthly party series ‘Soul Of Divercity’ in the music club Mehrspur, they contributed a lot to the national scene back then. It was a meeting point for all local headz, where people danced, laughed and shared a passion for broken beats.
In 2012, they successfully ventured out of the multi-track and organized the first ‘Jungle Bass’ with David Boomah and Aries at Exil. This party series still exists today after many years and it is fair to say that it has made a big contribution to the local, ongoing jungle revival.
After further events with guests such as DJ Hype, Benny Page and Utah Jazz, the first large-scale rave followed in March 2013 at Komplex 457, a Hospitality event with acts such as High Contrast and Camo & Krooked.
The following years were packed with both large and small events. They never forgot to promote the Swiss scene with ‘Soul Of Divercity’, nor to cover the demand for big raves with further hospitality events or RAM nights. They are also very keen to experiment. For example, a new party series ‘Divercity Live!’ was briefly launched to bring electronica from acts such as XXYYXX and Daedelus to Zurich. Dub parties are also being organized more and more often to draw the public’s attention to the origins of today’s bass music.

Venue
Kraftfeld has been located in the now lively Sulzer-Areal in the middle of Winterthur for over 25 years and is the first address for (un)discovered guitar bands, independent rap, electronic avant-garde, quirky formats and parties against the mainstream. Heineken and Co. are banned here. Instead, you will be greeted by a selected bar assortment and stylish furnishings made from salvaged industrial goods, as well as a cozy garden pub in the summer months.
