Divercity was founded in 2010 as a local Zurich Drum’n’Bass event label. With the monthly party series ‘Soul Of Divercity’ in the music club Mehrspur, they contributed a lot to the national scene back then. It was a meeting point for all local headz, where people danced, laughed and shared a passion for broken beats.

In 2012, they successfully ventured out of the multi-track and organized the first ‘Jungle Bass’ with David Boomah and Aries at Exil. This party series still exists today after many years and it is fair to say that it has made a big contribution to the local, ongoing jungle revival.

After further events with guests such as DJ Hype, Benny Page and Utah Jazz, the first large-scale rave followed in March 2013 at Komplex 457, a Hospitality event with acts such as High Contrast and Camo & Krooked.

The following years were packed with both large and small events. They never forgot to promote the Swiss scene with ‘Soul Of Divercity’, nor to cover the demand for big raves with further hospitality events or RAM nights. They are also very keen to experiment. For example, a new party series ‘Divercity Live!’ was briefly launched to bring electronica from acts such as XXYYXX and Daedelus to Zurich. Dub parties are also being organized more and more often to draw the public’s attention to the origins of today’s bass music.
