Eulachbass invites you to Kraftfeld for the second Jungle edition of the Reset party series!
Jungle is considered the musical precursor of Drum & Bass. The two styles are of course closely linked, but jungle contains more broken rhythms, syncopated beats and famous drum breaks such as the ‘Amen Break’, ‘Apache’ or ‘Think Break’.
TactiQal is travelling from Lucerne. With over 20 years of experience as a music creator, producer and DJ, he is an integral part of the ‘JungleRaiders’. He also co-founded the Nidwalden collective ‘TBIBT’, which regularly organises parties in the Lucerne area. He has also been active on the radio for almost 10 years – as the host of the ‘JunglisArea’ programme on the Zug radio station ‘Jam On’. We are looking forward to hearing his selection!
Max S. He started mixing vinyl in 1995 and soon after became a core member of the legendary Zurich collective ‘Metropolitan Bass Scientists’. After a brief excursion to the UK Garage, he joined the ‘Bassride’ agency, which had a permanent residence in the club ‘Rohstofflager’ (R.I.P.) until 2010. We are looking forward to the set of a pioneer of the Swiss Jungle and Drum & Bass scene!
Last but not least, we welcome Impact from the Tösstal. As early as 1993, he began playing at the youth centre with two MK2s. Before the turn of the millennium, he was accepted into the Zurich ‘Metropolitan Bass Scientists’ collective. When the collective disbanded, he and other DJs joined forces to form ‘The Engine’. After playing in practically all Swiss clubs, he retired in 2007, but the drum & bass fever has never let him go. We are also looking forward to his set with anticipation!
As usual, the Eulachbass local matadors will take care of the beginning and the end: KernelPanic will open with Footwork and Fayyaz and Molekül will ensure that even the last ones get a good portion of Amen Breaks on their ears. The graphic support comes, as always, from Habicht. We look forward to dancing together with you!
